Healthy Fast Food!

 How many times have you caved into your hunger, then stopped and grabbed fast food...even though you were on your way home? Ok lets be honest, I know there are times you have to eat out, trust me with all of the traveling I do I have to eat out often. However I am talking about our weekly routines. Again if your anything like me you have kids and your to do list seems to grow by the second and the thought of just "ONE MORE THING" to do can be exhausting! I totally get it and I know that fixing every meal can be a pain but fixing healthy meals do not have to take up a lot of time and they don't have to be complicated. So let me share some of my quick and easy favorites...reminder I HATE cooking:) I only get that wild cooking hair from time to time so when I say these are easy, I mean it. :)

Example #1: Todays lunch...I was out running errands  and it was past lunch time...oh snap, stomach is growling...what to do? Everything within me said grab a burger but my thighs said "PLEASE NO!" I went home and in 5 minutes or less I made this delicious lunch. No bloated, lethargic or guilty feeling and it saved me money too...now that's rewarding on so many different  levels.

This is all you need to make it...1/2 of a whole wheat pita stuffed with low sodium turkey meat, avocado, sliced tomatoes and baby spinach. Fresh berries on the side, all in which were perfectly measured out with my 21 Day Fix portion control containers. So no thinking about calories, just enjoying an easy healthy meal.

Now this is one of my FAVORITE healthy snacks of all times! It's super easy, delicious and fun to make. Simply mix Greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and coconut shavings. I also measured these out in my 21 Day Fix containers to make sure I had the proper portion size. Sometimes I leave out the yogurt but either way this treat is awesome! To make this one even faster to grab, wash your fruit as soon as you get home from the store, I use Fit Organic spray to wash all of my fruit and veggies once I get home and I highly suggest you do too:) Then your fruits are nice and clean and all you have to do is throw them in a bowl and enjoy.
